A recent article on the BBC website highlighted the benefits of the cloud. Specifically highlighting how up and coming businesses have taken advantage of cloud technology in order to grow their business and its reach.

The cloud retail market has grown from $4.1bn in 2011 to $15.1bn in 2015. Predictions are showing that by 2020, 75% of US companies will have encorporated the cloud into their business. The world is moving and becoming more remote and flexible. Aided by the cloud.

Seems like a lot of traveling in a short period?

Now imagine cycling it. Up to 96 hours sat on a saddle which is not much more than a sheet of carbon fibre (remove wince from face before continuing to read). Spread it out over 21 days and you have burnt 70,000 calories. That’s the same amount as 265 beef burgers.

Beat the CEO - A Win for Acuity, Sage & Cancer Research

As many of you may have seen recently, Marcus Leathwood and I will be representing Team Sage and Cancer Research in #BeattheCEO to raise money. The aim is to beat the CEO of Sage, Stephen Kelly, by as many minutes as possible as for every minute he is beaten by, he will donate £2, therefore raising as much money for Cancer Research as possible along the way.

At this stage I am confident that we should at least make £60 each from the generous sage of Sage.
