Today, we will be introducing our Head of Sage X3 Services. Please see below our interview with Carolina Prado.
Q1. When did you join Acuity?
'I joined Acuity in May 2011.'
Q2. What is your role & key responsibilities?
'At Acuity, over the years I’ve become a jack-of-all-trades, simply because every project is unique with a lot of different moving parts.
I brought with me a wealth of experience that I acquired during my employment at Sage Spain in Madrid, working on a range of complex projects as a specialist consultant. Acuity has ensured that my knowledge is used efficiently by deploying me on a multitude of international projects, ranging from companies needing assistance in Kenya, Iran and The Congo.
Currently, I head up a very talented team of X3 consultants. We have been working together for a few years and in the process have built a very unique methodology. I’m very customer focused with good attention to detail which allows me to work closely with my sales and account management teams to ensure what is promised can be delivered. I also manage my own project base.
I focus on presenting a multitude of options to our customers whilst helping them to make long term effective decisions. I listen and discern the best course of action. I’m always looking to learn from my peers and clients, as well as acquire further training in our field. I believe this is key in delivering an excellent service.'
Q3. In your opinion, what make’s Acuity different?
'Acuity has great people at all levels of the company. Acuity has a family feel and everyone is supportive of each other's ideas and projects challenges. We are also an ambitious group and an energetic company driving real opportunities, always looking to enhance our skills as we work.'
Q4. What are your key goals each month?
'My key goal is to manage a sustainable and profitable model for the team. I also try to manage our milestones, activities and goals efficiently.'
Q5. What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
'I’m heavily involved in the development of an up and coming racket sport called Padel. I played professionally in Spain for many years and now I head up the ladies Team GB, as well as competing around Europe. You can follow my activity on my Instagram or Facebook page @carolpradoukpadel and you can also check out the website for the British Padel Federation www.britishpadel.org.uk. Even better, if you’d like to get involved just drop me a message! I’m also really big on travelling, not only for work but also for pleasure as I enjoy exploring and learning new cultures. And lastly, like a proper Spaniard I love food and believe friends and family are some of life’s essentials.'
