Three Pillars; supporting our success and growth!

No Secret sauce in this article, simply some further insight into the culture and ethos at Acuity. 

In the 5 years I have been with the organisation and through the transformation over the past 24 months the foundations of our success remain built on three core pillars; Our People, Our Customers and Innovation.

Our People; Employee advocacy (often an overused term) but at our core we are a Professional Services business, we offer a globally unique portfolio of solutions but the implementation, consulting and support we offer are delivered by the team, the value and expertise we offer is done so by these individuals. Our people make this reality for our customers, great teamwork, collaboration, accountability, soft skills alongside a deep functional and technical expertise, really does set the Acuity team apart.

We recently launched a new programme to Meet the Team (#HumansOfAcuity) on our social channels, introducing the entire team over the coming months, welcoming new starters and sharing further insight into who each of us are.

Our Customers; we support customers across a broad spectrum of industries and differing sizes through Start Up, Scales Up and Enterprise businesses. Building strong relationships, understanding and meeting our customers Key Success Factors for projects and providing ongoing support. With customers in the UK and in over 40 countries on 5 continents, through the portfolio of solutions we offer we support the full suite of Sage Business Cloud solutions and have a long heritage of supporting customer migration through the Sage portfolio.

We focus our professional services based on a methodology branded ROBOT (Referenceable, On-Time, On Budget) by Steve Fuller (our Chief Operations Officer). 

We will be introducing some of these customers via #CustomersOfAcuity, we are proud and excited to be working with our customers spanning the scale and portfolio of solutions we offer, and will be sharing their stories, who they are, what they do and how we’ve supported them to deliver their business goals.

Innovation; Another over used term? At Acuity our main focus is the core implementation of solutions to meet customers’ needs. Innovation for Acuity is delivering greater efficiency and performance enhancements though the adoption of technology. Via #AcuityInnovation we will cover content regarding; Product insight (& hints and tips for users), ISV and 3rd party relationships (solutions we believe add further value to the core implementation), Development projects and insight into our delivery methodology ROBOT and more Clever stuff the team are working on or have delivered to customers.

Yes, we will take a look into subjects such as AI and IOT which are clearly creeping into everyday life and will no doubt continue to be discussed.

Leadership; All of this is possible, down to the clear vision set by our CEO, Lee Whelan,  who founded the business over 20 years ago. A deep heritage and relationship with our key vendors, an appetite to transform the business, foresight to adopt new cloud solutions early and adjust our delivery models and methods to keep ahead of the curve.

It’s a great Leadership team to be part of alongside Lee, Steve, and also Stephen Clarke (our Chief Sales Officer) who will be shortly sharing his experience of the first year at Acuity and latest edition to the team Mark Cohen (our Chief Product Officer) who joined us only this week.
